But then I realised it was a reposting of your October article, and hadn't taken account of my comment on that article, which was this:

"I'm afraid that the situation is worse than you describe. The climate-hysterics are furious that a truth-teller should use the law to stand up to their bullying, and are taking the judgement to appeal. All of Prof Ridd's compensation, including his legal costs from the original trial, have been blocked. So he is faced with the choice of walking away, destitute and defeated, or raising the money to take the case through the higher courts, which might take 1.5 million Australian Dollars. He has a go-fund-me at https://www.gofundme.com/f/peter-ridd-legal-action-fund . I would urge anyone who cares at all about rationality or justice to send him whatever they can spare."

The good news is that the go-fund-me has raised enough to cover the appeal court proceedings, but a final million dollars will be needed if the bullies take the appeal beyond that. If that happens, it would be great if everyone could pitch in what they can spare.
Ken and Helen Butcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13749732749668883665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-491174673971804494.post-70767033674664201102019-12-23T05:49:55.191-08:002019-12-23T05:49:55.191-08:00'Slight cooling' means way below 0F in Nov...'Slight cooling' means way below 0F in November in places where this hasn't happened in the last 200 years.Elaine M Supkishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11611766336362701554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-491174673971804494.post-39187684829160343612019-12-22T07:54:19.337-08:002019-12-22T07:54:19.337-08:00Place one drop of strychnine in an Olympic size po...Place one drop of strychnine in an Olympic size pool. Mix thoroughly. Take one drop of liquid from that pool and place in in a separate Olympic size pool, and mix thoroughly. Now take one drop, and place it on your tongue.

Will you die? The strychnine is still strychnine, after all.

That's how homeopathy "works".

Oh, and there has been no warming for 20 years. He recently won the libel suit filed against him by Michael "Hockey Stick" Mann, when Man refused a court order to produce his data for analysis. Ball released his own data that showed that while the temperature is rising, it has been hotter in other time periods over the last thousand years.
The "peer review" comment reminds me of something I read almost 20 years ago. Madeleine Ennis, a well published Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Belfast, set out to prove that homeopathy's claims of original substances diluted by water retain their natural properties, was false. She used the same standard techniques used in other research she had done, mostly on immunology. At the end of the day, the study confirmed homeopathy's claim. Obviously stunned, she had no explanation, because her results confirmed Jacques Benveniste's "discredited" 1988 study.
Ennis's study was immediately attacked as flawed. Big Pharma has way too much invested to allow studies like these to become comon knowledge.
