It's unusual for a CC to be superior, though I note the problem seems to be USC is pretty bad.Doomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04528555392898760692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-491174673971804494.post-36769726351421334602019-04-07T12:51:27.916-07:002019-04-07T12:51:27.916-07:00My niece, after getting her AA at Grossmont Colleg...My niece, after getting her AA at Grossmont College (a community college) in San Diego transferred to UCLA. She said that she learned more at Grossmont College than UCLA where she got her BA. I taught many students at East Los Angles College (a community college) who transferred to USC. They came back and told me the teachers were better and they learned more at ELAC than at USC. Those who transferred to UCLA made comparable comments. I have a friend who got an MSW at USC. She told me that she got it there because of the name even though Cal State Long Beach has a better program. She said that the best teacher she had in the program was a Rabbi. The others weren't all that interesting. It is unfortunate that the American style of education (having a plethora of administrators all being paid way too much) is being exported throughout the world. They obviously don't realize how this will devalue education.Eye of Horushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07398136948080848879noreply@blogger.com
